SLIPKNOT To Take On All Challengers

October 8, 2008

SLIPKNOT will team up with the legendary gamer clan C.O.T.A. this month on Xbox Live to take on all challengers.

Want to take on these heavy metal rockers in Frontlines: Fuel of War? The two superpowers, the Western Coalition and the Red Star Alliance, are headed for the inevitable conflict. Join the battle on the frontlines today!

If you're an Xbox LIVE Gold member, and you want a chance to play with members of SLIPKNOT, send a friend request to the gamertag Slipknot GWF and be online half an hour before the Game with Fame session starts on Wednesday, October 15 between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. PST.

SLIPKNOT's "Dead Memories" video was directed by P.R. Brown, who has previously worked with MÖTLEY CRÜE, MARILYN MANSON, CHIMAIRA and AVENGED SEVENFOLD.

The band was forced to cancel several European festival appearances as well as performances for MTV Europe and Virgin TV after drummer Joey Jordison broke his ankle and was advised to rest for four to six weeks.

SLIPKNOT recently completed the first Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour with co-headliners DISTURBED and will return to North American stages in January.
